Appointments

Request an appointment

The Practice is always very busy. We allow ten minutes for each appointment. If you feel you need more time then please let the receptionist know.

If you request to see a preferred named doctor then there may be a 2/3 week wait. However we always see urgent cases and young children on the same day, though this will probably not be with your preferred named doctor.

Routine appointments can now be made on line, please enquire at Reception.

If you are already registered or wish to register to do so you can book your appointment on-line here

If you are unable to keep an appointment please let the Practice know as the appointment could then be given to another patient.

We value continuity of care at the practice and always try to accommodate patients who request to see a doctor of their choice.

Urgent appointments are booked with any doctor. To ensure more routine appointments with a specific doctor are available, please think carefully when asking for an urgent appointment.

Cancel your appointment

If you are unable to attend for your appointment, please contact reception as soon as possible.

Telephone: (01282) 868482

Alternatively, you can cancel your appointment on-line (prior registration is required to be able to do this).

Cancelling your appointment in plenty of time, will ensure we have more appointments available for other patients.

Urgent appointment

If you find you need an urgent appointment, could you please contact the surgery as soon as possible.

We do offer a triage system at the surgery for urgent appointment requests.

This system requires the receptionist to take as much detail as possible about your illness. This will then be immediately passed through to the doctor to triage.

You will then be called back by either the doctor or receptionist with an appointment/advice.

Extended hours

We hold sessions outside the normal working day and these are intended for those patients who are working full-time and cannot come to appointments during the normal working day.

A Doctor session from 7.30am – 8.00am.

And a Nurse session from 6.30pm – 7.10pm.
